Individual development plan

Go through each attribute in the plan, where does the individual stand today? What needs to be developed?

  • Set the Initial Value, Target Value and Current Value for the attribute.
  • Do not forget: The current value is moved by the employee or manager during reconciliations during the year.
  • When you as a group leader value a attribute, no one but you as a group leader can move these values.
  • As a group leader, you can make changes to the attributes of the employees to whom you are authorized.
  • Once you have made changes and given points, the employee cannot make changes to either points (start and goal value) or property.

Both employees and group leaders with authority can make comments and move the current value. When this is done, the comment is saved to be visible under history / changes on the date the change was implemented. When the score changes, it is also visible on the graph (development curve) at the date it was changed.

In order for the development plan to lead to concrete measures that help the individual to develop, you and your employee must create activities. Activities can be concrete things, in the short and long term, that your employee must do to achieve the goals

  • Log in to Rolf
  • Enter the employee's name in the search box and click search. Alt. click on employees in the top menu bar, and then search for the employee.

To create an activity

  • Go to the NEW ACTIVITY box on the right of the page when you are in the development plan.
  • Enter the name of the activity. For example: Customer processing.
  • Add a description. For example: Make x number of calls each week.
  • Select which property the activity is to be linked to in the scroll bar.
  • Click Create Activity.
  • The activity then ends up in the property you have selected and also ends up on the employee's home page when he or she logs in.

When you have gone through the entire development plan and added activities to each property, then select which activities have the highest priority right now by ticking High priority. These activities then turn red and end up at the top of each property. Keep in mind that a maximum of 4-5 activities at a high priority is realistic at a time. When the employee then reflects, he sees his activities on the start page. When you meet next time and look at the development plan, you can choose to add new activities and re-evaluate the priorities of the existing ones.

How to enter individual attributes?

If you want to give an individual one or more individual (for example role-specific) attributes, which are in addition to the set template, go to the ADD ATTRIBUTES box. Enter the name of the attribute and any description, then click Add. The attribute then ends up at the bottom of the list of attributes, you can then add activities to this as described above.
